(More customer reviews)I really like this attachment and use it frequently.That said, I have some suggestions:
For users-
1. Use the KitchenAid mixing bowl to catch the juice, and place a large standard kitchen strainer across the bowl.This speeds things up a lot!
2. Rub some shortening on the aluminum shaft before inserting it into the brass sleeve.If you use your juicer a lot, this will greatly prolong its life.
For KitchenAid-
1. The plastic piece that inserts into the mixer should be made out of metal, instead of plastic with a metal sleve.On mine the plastic is cracking away from the brass.
2. The aluminum shaft should be brass or steel.As it is, the bearing surface is a small area of aluminum that even when lubricated, is showing lots of wear.

(More customer reviews)I bought this cooler for an Oct camping trip. Little did I know it was going to stick around in the 80-85's the entire 4 days we were camping! I had brought 2 coolers with us, this one and a beer cooler. The beer cooler was melted by day 2. This one still had ice. So we transferred all the beer into this one. I'm suprised everything fit. After multiple openings and closings, all the food was still cold and there was still ice in it when we left the site. I was impressed and will highly reccomend this product to anyone.

These have been dropped and have not cracked or chipped at all (although some reviews have stated this happens.) They have been through the top rack of the dishwasher almost daily as well, and show no sign of wear. I hope to have them for many years to come.

(More customer reviews)I found this Rosle ice cream scoop is easier to use on hard ice cream for portioning than what I used before, a gelato/ice cream spade.The pointed tip and the round handle together help make round scoops.I use my scoop for both putting scoops of ice cream in a bowl and on a cone but it is a bit slow going for that.

PROS:Well designed for digging into hard ice cream

CONS:It is expensive for a scoop that others say is made in China.

(More customer reviews)I just got this cupcake makers from my husband and I love it!I have made all kinds of cupcakes and muffins... it took me a little while to get the amount to put in the cups right and my first few batched were not very pretty, however the more I make the happier I am.I love to take it to school and make fresh treats for my kid's birthday right in class!The kids love it!

The one downfall of this wonderful creation is clean up.Attempting to get all the burnt crumbs out of the cups takes more time than actually making the cupcakes.But with a little elbow grease and a generous helping of wet paper towels it can be done pretty quickly.

Overall it is silly and fun and frivolous. If you are a real baker you probably don't want this, but I can see college kids or busy, on the go people liking this a lot.I sure do!

After he fixed all the smaller problems and the warranty expired, he found out there was an internal leak which is a huge problem and would cost more to fix than what it is worth. So now it just holds the ice we buy from the store!

(More customer reviews)We bought this unit because we were delighted to find an ice cream maker that allows you to make SMALL amounts, and even better, three different flavors (it allows you to make three distinct pints).We used it relentlessly for two weeks, and couldn't manage to make anything thicker than a milkshake.Worse yet, most of the results, when frozen, were like the unfortunate consequences of melted and refrozen ice cream: you get a sweet treat that's as hard as a rock, and impossible to serve unless you have an icepick and a sledgehammer!We weren't willing to put egg in our recipes, but wondering if that was the problem, we tried a vegan egg replacement product: that ended up our most successful batch, but by that point we'd already felt as if we'd had to fight too hard with the darned thing, and we didn't want to be forced to make only recipes that called for eggs, so we returned it.We just ordered a Cuisinart ICE-20 from Amazon to replace it, because a friend has that same unit and it makes absolutely delicious, perfect ice cream!She's made many recipes _without_ egg, and they come out fine.

However, upon my first scoop I was convinced it was worth it. The scoop contains freon which transfers heat from your hand to the scoop, allowing you to effortlessly scoop through even the hardest ice cream (like Ben & Jerry's straight from the freezer). You actually see the ice cream melt upon contact with the scoop!
I highly recommend this to anyone who loves ice cream but doesn't like scooping it out! Highly satisfied!
