(More customer reviews)I tried this gelato scoop with firm ice cream and unless the ice cream is very soft I cannot get a good comfortable grip for scooping.If you really need an ice cream scoop, try the R?sle Ice Cream Scoop.I have one and it is the one I always reach for when scooping ice cream.
So while I expect to use it like my other Piazza scoops for portioning, this Piazza scoop does not have the scoop size stamped on it like other Piazza scoops.
PROS:Definitely made to last a lifetime.If you prefer squeeze actions over a thumb action for food release, this is the scoop for you.
CONS:Is a great portioning scoop if I knew how much I was scooping for a portion.
