(More customer reviews)I thought this would be a fun ice cream maker for my family, but I was really disappointed. Some of the ice cream formed a frozen layer along the inside of the bowl and the rest managed to all get clumped in the mixing blade. I waited the correct amount of time before adding a mix-in (crushed oreo cookies) and when I tried to put the top back on it was almost impossible. I had to move everything around in the bowl to make space for the blade. The ice cream is definitely soft serve and did not stay very frozen for long. Clean up is kind of a pain because the top and blade are what plug into the wall. When I removed the lid, ice cream dripped all over the counter. An easy clean up, but if you're going to eat it right out of the bowl, you'll need to either take the lid and blade directly to the sink, or be prepared to clean up your counter.
It does look cute, and does not take up a ton of space which is nice. I plan on returning mine and getting something else.
